For one of our clients in the oil and gas industry we are now looking for a Project Controller who will work with and support the project manager during the execution phase of a project to achieve project objectives. The work tasks can vary in scale and scope between projects, and for larger projects work tasks can be split between more than one project coordinators. The Project Coordinator will normally be part of the project team from Contract Award until Contract Completion.

 

Main responsibilities includes:

Provide support to the project with following main responsibilities;

  • Interface coordination with external parties, including; Initiate and set-up of Interface Management System and tools as appropriate for the project, provide training related to interface management system, initiate, establish and populate the interface registers in the project launch phase, contribute to identifying external interfaces to be included as part of project schedule, administrate, monitor and follow-up of interface clarifications, prepare status reporting, be single point of contact in the project for external interface clarifications, attend or conduct external interface meetings as required and capture potential commercial impacts on the Project from the interfaces.
  • Administration of notification of inspection activities (NOIs), internal and towards clients, including; Being responsible for communicating notifications within company, to Customer and return message to suppliers, maintain the Notification Plan; A tool for organizing, tracking, document and communicating notifications/NOIs within a project. Prepare status reporting from the Notification Plan.
  • Coordinate Spare Parts List(s) for the project.
  • Follow-up and Reporting.
  • Coordinate, track and expedite activities and provide general support as required by project.
  • Be flexible by accepting other project roles according to the Projects and Company needs.

Experience and skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor (3 years) relevant Engineering degree/Business administration degree and/ or relevant work experience.
  • ERP system knowledge is desirable.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Structured.
  • Fluent in English language.
